Welcome! I am Cheryl Garrett, owner of Talladega Behavioral Healthcare Services, LLC. With a career spanning 28 years in rehabilitation, I have dedicated my life to empowering individuals to overcome personal and behavioral challenges. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, with a minor in Political Science from Troy University, and a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University. I am an Associate Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama, practicing under the supervision of Nieshia M. Brown, Ed.S, LPC-S.
My passion lies in helping individuals and families navigate life’s obstacles with compassion and understanding, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a mother of two children with special abilities, I bring a personal and empathetic perspective to my work. I understand the unique challenges individuals and their families face, and my goal is to offer a space of healing, growth, and empowerment.
